LMQ | LoL Esports
LMQ began as the substitute and training team for the Chinese powerhouse, Royal Club. In July of 2013, they shuffled their roster and parted ways with their sister team, forming LMQ Tian Ci. In December of 2013, with the help of their new sponsor, iBUYPOWER, LMQ moved to a brand new gaming house in the United States so that they could compete in the North American Challenger Series.
With the ultimate goal of competing in the NA LCS, LMQ powered through the Challenger Series, and after an impressive showing in the promo tournament, that goal was achieved. LMQ went on to bully their way through the LCS, proving to their doubters that they absolutely had what it took to compete at the highest levels. After a brief slump toward the end of the summer split, LMQ doubled down and scored a spot in the playoffs where they went on to defeat Curse in a white-knuckle best-of-five that went all five matches. Now LMQ has a shot at Worlds, to prove once and for all that they're the real deal.
